IMO threads like that should be locked to have no one able to post at all, there's literally no good point in that.
But then people would complain that we're not really being given a say, a chance to convince others what is good for them.
Also, the first page or two actually contain some meaningful clarification questions and answers.
The way it has deteriorated, though... definitely should have been locked by now.
