Hey Maplers,

As many of you are aware, over the holiday break, we experienced interruptions to the service across a number of our games. These issues, as we have stated, were related to an ongoing Distributed Denial-of-Service attack on our services.

Though we are constantly working to make strives to ensure that these attacks can be dealt with more quickly in the future, we wanted to reach out a hand of appreciation for those of you who have been affected by these attacks (hint: everyone) and show our support for your patience and understanding while we have been dealing with these issues.

Here, you can find a poll for voting on a number of different compensation packages that we have created in order to provide options to you guys, the community, so you can vote and have your say in what kind of compensation you would like.

In the following list, you will find the differences in the various poll options.

Might someone remind me why its a bad idea to get the hired merchant? Because I need one but I don't want to maple playing maple even more troublesome than the NGS and channel switching DC make it.

probably 3 is more useful than 1 for me. safety and respawns.

probably most of voters are merchants who either want a shop or don't want the fm to be flooded with shops

actually i am quite baffled as to why they offered the 3 choices. i think people would have been quite happy with just receiving whatever they had decided, if they hadn't offered a choice.

now people will be disappointed if they didn't get what they wanted. and the poll will be easily manipulated by fanatics with many accounts mainly because most people would not vote.

why couldn't they have just given everything? they all expire very soon anyway
