There's not much point to testing them on their own - the technical testing can be done in-house, and "balance" testing won't mean a thing until we see what 5th job does.
If 5th job isn't right around the corner, and Nexon actually think these changes will bring more balance to the game as it is... smh.
first they pineapple the players (like they're doing right now
then they reintroduce everything as "brand new content!"
EMSKakaoTalk Wrote:Lurking around insoya currently, people seem happy about this balancing patch in general.let me ask some questions about that table, why do you trust a table that you have no idea what it means?
Even the paladins/phantoms/darkknights here seem to be admitting the op-ness of their classes; one of the reasons why I like insoya people is that people are not very power-creeping. They understand how games should be balanced and what classes should be nerfed.
Some interesting changes though, Kaiser with Seed tower sword at the top 10 in the new DPM table and mechanic at the #14...:
(Warning: I did not make this chart, if you ask me any question regarding this table, I will NOT be able to answer. I just did the translation part. The chart may contain some errors as it has just been released.)
Credits to Mori on insoya.com for the chart.
Bear in mind some details of the chart may be changed and will be updated on insoya. However, I cannot ensure that I will be actively changing the chart as soon as the table undergoes some alterations.
how much boss% do the classes have in that table?
how much %ignore is everyone using?
what skill rotation are they doing?
what percent of that damage is affected by X or Y skill that ignores defense?
that table is useless, if you want to use a table at least use joetang's, and here's a funny different thing, tables don't account for attack buffs or all stat buffs, so a class like xenon might look meeh on paper, but when you think about it they can get over 2x as much mainstat which literally doubles the damage they cause.
paladins were OP at the very end of bossing, at any boss that didn't have elemental resist a Hero or DrK would overpower it (by percentages) and it took DrK's 100% uptime gungnir to be able to beat heroes, don't bring tables and info you don't know about except for "i saw him attacking and he dealt big numbers"
also insoya DrK and pallies had been screaming for a buff for -YEARS- because of how terrible both classes were in the past, with heroes sitting at the top so hard.
Infernasis Wrote:How to get 230% buff duration for no CD Gungnirwell, if you got a maxed inner ability (50%, good luck with that!) and a maxed mech (20%) you... are still fucked

Being Dark Knight is suffering.
To be honest, Pallies did not deserve that either. In fact they got hit way harder than us. Poor Pallies. I hope they raise it from 0% to 50% or something.
Of course, things can change with 5th job, but eh...
they have a skill called void elemental
it doesn't void elemental resistance.
epic balancing right there

For those wondering why mercedes has so much wording, nexon just say fook it and give her the ability to chain almost all of her attacking skills to all other attacking skills lol. Check out the link and ctrl F 精靈遊俠. Click all the blue hyper link words you see and it will turn into skills icon.
that's neat actually
