Doesn't it generally take them months to years to update descriptions to include notable details like that?
I'm noting GMS still doesn't even identify elemental attributes on wands/staves, or the effects of a scroll of warmth and/or spikes.
For that matter chaos scrolls aren't too clear on what they do either.
I think they like ambiguity.
