I don't think Colossus is boring!, and about the drop rate, i mean the bosses that wasn't fully revamped and also the drop rate of the bosses, like arkariumhould drop the dominator pendant also the snakes should be with more hp but all classes should hit, Zakum or other bosses:it's summoners still need the upgrade life that i know, the exp would be worst compared to today but the drop rate would rise. There's also the occult cube dropping from monsters/bosses, and the Flame of Reincarnation that is something good dropped from bosses or got in events .

There's no updated Arkarium snakes in the extraction so it's safe to say we aren't getting any of that this time either.
