I think it's a waste of time and money to try and block it.
I think that it will encourage underage people to circumvent the restrictions in increasingly inventive ways which will make them more susceptible to computer infection.

I do not think this is a civil rights problem since the customer makes the decision by opting out if they desire.

I wouldn't even say that computer infection is the serious issue here.

The entire problem is that it will promote bypassing the rules, which you never want to do. When you constantly add more and more silly, stupid, and useless rules you increase the desensitization for following ANY rules. The more pointless rules you add that people go around, the more likely chance that people will decide that other rules aren't important and bypass them as well. Next thing you know people are doing 10x worse than they should, because of the compounding issue of "It's not a big deal if you do that."
