I'm pretty sure you can gift items on the same account (unless they changed it), but looks like you can't gift things on sale like weekly cs sales (i.e 17.9k 90day Hyper Rock). Still saving money so it's all good. Thread can be closed now.
Probably a bit late, but that sale doesn't end until the 31st of July.
