Sport is no longer limited to something that is primarily a physical activity.

We have sport, we have motor-sport, we have equistrian-sport, we have cue-sports, we have chess and now we also have electronic-sports, AKA e-sports.

If we go some hundred years back i'm sure there's plenty of things that is considered sport by the majority today weren't thought of as sports back then.
Sport is an ever evolving term and definition.

Hell, hunting and even fishing are by some considered a sport.
Huh, i had no idea chess was considered a sport. I guess some games might count as sport then under that definition.
