I've taken down Crimson Quru, along with his invited Deviljo friend and did it without any ass mutilation.

Deviljho isn't really that hard. He just freaks people out the first time because of his wide area attacks and the fact that he does a lot of damage to Low Rank/early High Rank armor. It makes people scared of him when he's really pretty much piss easy.
