My disappointment when I saw that Barroth armor doesn't give Potential anymore...Was going to make it for a bow armor too...
You're not being annoying at all really. I honestly just want to help everyone here be good hunters, because I've played with randoms, and it usually turns out very badly. I want people here to be people I want to play with, so I'm trying to give all the tips I can.
T10 is apparently the best "overall Blademaster" one, but I don't really know why. That's just what I had heard from my friend while we discussed this topic. I would just say go with whatever you think is the best. In the end, you're going to be missing out on some stuff anyway. As long as you don't get a cursed table you should be fine. I hate the entire system, but at this point I'm just going with the flow because I'm happy to be playing MH again. If I miss some "godtier" sets, then so be it. I never exactly made traditional sets anyway and always went and made some crazy mixed crap.
I just hope that some of the new skills aren't exclusive to random single sets, like Archer (All Shot types up in one skill) and Fury (AUL + Potential+2). I doubt I'll ever get both of them in one set because this isn't frontier, but wouldn't that be awesome? I'm waiting to get to the higher ranks to even look at combining sets right now. It's far too early to start worrying about that kind of stuff in my opinion.
For Charm Tables, I just went with one that seemed to be decent for the weapon types I was going to use (Duals, Hammer, and Bow). If it's not the best, oh well. It's not worth stressing over the stupid system.
Chicocl Wrote:Thanks, I didn't see it. So, pretty much I'll have to go with any table that has Handicraft because I don't use any type of gun/bow, etc. I mostly use lances, LS(Offline only) and GS, I liked Dual Swords in the demo but I'm not sure about them.
Looking in the table the highest option for handicraft is the number 6 with the +4 one with 3 slots that could give me a total of 8, but it looks horrible hard to get but if we consider the +5 ones with 2 slots with a possible +7 then 6 is the best, So I think I'll get the T6 also in other aspects it isn't as screwed as others. Also that +5 Debilitate, +10 attack exclusive charm in T6.
Sorry for being so annoying, the problem is that when I played MH3 I only played for like 1 hour max 4 days a week, and more in a casual way, because my little cousin always screwed me up when using internet to watch 1080p videos and movies or hiding away my MH3 copy... but now that I'm going to live with my brother and with a 10mb internet connection I think I can start playing this game more seriously (finally being able to play online without problems).
