If you get the 3DS version and manage to get a Wii U sometime later, they're gonna have an app on the Wii U to let you connect to the online servers with your 3DS game, so you won't be forced to buy the Wii U version.

That's awesome! It'd still require me to get the Wii U though, so I might as well see the prettier pictures.

And stare in awe as I get beaten. ;-;
