But the non-permanent pet itself costs money. 3.4k is only part of what you're spending to make it permanent.

At 3.4 you can spend less than 9-10 dollars and have a permanent pet with temporary equips. Making something permanent isn't as feasible as selling permanent things for $11-15 as an event unless they make said item cost over 10 dollars.

But a permanent pet water of life doesn't exist, so this is less fruitful discussion.
