#1
Does anyone know how fast it hits per second? I can't find it anywhere.

Is it like 120ms like Hurricane/Rapid Fire?

If you don't believe JoeTang or I, you're gonna have a bad time here.

It was testing Joe and I did for Phantom in kMS.

i do believe him but... where is the data that show it 180 ms?
or you just test by frame by frame?

It would be really nice if there was some kind of math or evidence for these skill delays. I haven't found a solid source for the skill delays of mille aiguilles or even rapid fire/hurricane in any of the extractions, I've just been going by word-of-mouth. Not saying that I don't believe you, but numbers are always better than going on faith.

Take a video.
Record it at 90fps.
Then look at the attacks frame by frame.

The delays fiel uses are part of 00002000.img so they're not always accurate in game and that's why testing has to be done for skills that portray that delay.

Edit: NVM, it seemed like it did other DPS then it does today, haha

180ms seems to be correct indeed! Tnx for the info! Smile

Devil Wrote:180ms is not possible, Tempest does more -way- more DPS then Twilight

Tempest (lvl1 atm) => 1000/180 * 225% = 1250%
Carte Noire (100% crit) => 1000/180 * 220% = 1222%
Total => 2472%

Twilight (lvl1 atm) => 1000/810 * 1515 = 1870%
Carte Noire (100% crit) => 1000/810 * 220% = 272%
Total => 2142%

In-game, Tempest does more DPS by a factor of +/- 2x then Twilight... There has to be another delay somehow or something that went wrong with the coding...

checking again...

Seriously?
It's called an ending delay that a majority of skills have. Way to compare.

interesting, something i'll have to make sure someone checks later, but here.
http://maplearchive.com/skill.php?id=24121005

it states it as 120 MS, considering that looking for hurricane shows no frames, it's possible he's wrong.

If I have to explain this one more time I will kill you.

HTtempest is found in 00002000.img which is for skill activation. This is probably the delay to activate the skill not the attacks.

I thought MapleArchive pulled directly from the data.

Pulling up Mille Aiguilles shows HTultimateDrive as 120ms as well, so it's odd that they would have a start-up delay time noted for Tempest and Mille but not for Hurricane/Rapid Fire.

i meant the maplearchive owner, you'd have been better not explaining, i read my threads f3

@aflac: it does, but it needs to know what to pull, so pulling info and tagging it wrong can happen.

If it lists 120ms for Ult Drive then that's weird too. I have 00002000.img on me but this thread is making me slack on translations.

120ms start up delay for ult drive is too low and 120ms ult drive is too fast. It's conflicting.
