Permanent Monster Familiars

How does Mr. Alli compare to Mutant Snail? I already made my snail perma since I was saving it for another character.

Also, I happen to have a 16x Aran that hasn't done the mount quest. Should I dedicate my Aran to hunting that wolf familiar on 4x/6x drop?

I think in terms of healing, they're both the same. Mutant Snail just does more damage (do people really use familiars for damage? o-o)

I believe high leveled familiars also have more vitality, as Jr. Boogie dosen't last nearly as long as Mr. Alli.

I think that might just because higher-level familiars do more OHKOing, thus saving hits (thus saving vitality).

You only need one to make it permanent. One, and ninety days ;_;

i like mr alli because it's nowhere near as big as mutant snail, ofc the snail is better for parties.

If I currently have 1 orb on my Mutant Snail and use another card, would that make it permanent or do I have to wait for it to expire first before using a new card?

You just need another card. I tried it with Axe Stumps (which had 1) and it went to permanent.

I guess the other big appeal of the mutant snail is that it'll work on empress and (maybe?) dojo. I can't clear dojo in a decent amount of time on my Aran because of that empress mana regen bug that still hasn't been fixed.

Iirc we never use mutant snail and stuff in empress because it messes up potion cooldown.

I think you're supposed to summon it to heal everyone instead of yourself.

Then desummon it when your pot cds.

Also, next 2x drop event, going to card + easter egg buff.
