I went more than 1,000 without getting a single quest item.

After failing Amour D'Aria 20 three times, this is not what I need!

In relation to every other quest for coins it was extremely Broken. It wouldn't be a problem if there was something else substantial to do. The Artefact hunt is pretty good though.

Except if you're at a certain level where you have to settle horrible map layouts. Case and point; Time Temple, Skeles, and Newties.

I'm probably going to have to use other characters than my Hero to farm coins so that I can farm scrolls.

Meh, got pretty much all that I wanted from Renegade coins anyway

Welp. Guess there goes my plan of getting all the Phantom books you can pick in specific passed.
At least I got Impeccable Memory to 30.

I'm just glad I have the coin purse + chairs... No other reason to get anything else other than for selling Phantom books.

No other reason *for me* to get anything else other than for selling Phantom books.

*was saving up for mystery awesome mastery book but had work yesterday and doesn't have 50 coins*

Crap. I used over 750 coins on clean slate failures. At one point I failed 38 10% Clean Slates in a row. And I haven't even begun to scroll a cane yet... oh well, I guess I won't be seriously making a phantom anymore.

My helmet only needs one more Armor STR 20% scroll and it's done. I'm irritated that I need to do TWO runs just for one scroll now, never mind that it'll take 2-3 days on average just to pass that last slot now.

Are the majority of you angry about this because it was your way to get Phantom books?

I won't be bothering with a Phantom, so I'm just wondering if there was something else that people really wanted coins for that I'm missing.

My phantom is only ever reaching lvl 70 for that link skill.

Scrolls. (15 for clean slate 10%, 12 for 20% ATT scroll)
Chairs (30ish coins)
Books for every class (27 coins)
Special MMB (55 coins)
Recipes (~10 coins)

For poor people like me, this was a really great way to get a decent weapon without worry of sinking millions on a new weapon. Like with the legends update, I made my cannoneer a decent mid-level weapon for free (basically). Plus I also made my warrior mules strength pans, have enough scrolls to make a new overall if I need to AND I can almost finish my archer's top/bottom combo, all for a small investment of time. AND I can clean slate my previously crap scrolled weaponry. Now I can't.


Plus I needed the mystery super mastery book so I didn't have to hunt for million meso books for my shadower/buccaneer. But now I do.

Its actually 10% clean slates, the 20% comes from another similar event in the future i believe.

Well damn.. if that's the case, I guess the nerf is pretty annoying.
