I wouldn't mind too much if there were other ways to farm coins. In KMS there were Christmas events you could easily get coins from. Maybe Azwan events will have some way to get coins, otherwise the price of Phantom books is going to skyrocket due to lack of supply.

I couldn't even do pink Zakum anyway, it's at like 2:30am onward for me so I don't care either way. There should have been some daily repeatable quests that gave 5-10 coins each really.

The PQ, Monster Park etc quests should give more than 1 coin. That's a bit cheap when there is nothing else to do.

It's perfectly fine. It is not supposed to be a get rich fast thing anyway. If you wanted a few chairs, a purse or a wep, the events give more than enough coins.
The fact that Pink Zakum is on such an awkward time for so many of us is also reason enough to nerf it down a bit. I don't really care though, I have gotten everything I wanted out of the Renegades shop anyway, the permanent demon pet equip is scrolled and done.

Unless Azwan is going to bring us some crazy coinage, this nerf wasn't justified.

Even if they wanted to stop people from selling the books like mad they could've just made them all untradeable.

Participate in what? Pink Zakum was almost the only way to actually get coins, besides the 1~2 you can get from login and party quests per day.

i found out last night that turning in the 8 artifact treasure's give 8 coins each

that's a free 64 coin for everyone (hopefully they didn't fix this yet)

In relation to every other quest for coins it was extremely Broken. It wouldn't be a problem if there was something else substantial to do. The Artefact hunt is pretty good though.
