bleve, 200 Galicia Fire/Poison Archmage. 120 Cygnus Knight present on account. Gears was level 3 when the character was deleted. Gears had been leveled up 31st October. Gears acquired October 29. Empress Might acquired October 22. Deleted.

I'm guessing family ties and any contribution were wiped... There goes almost 52k contribution (if I'm correct).

I've accepted the fact that my account will likely get hacked eventually.

They could probably start by looking only at UAs.

I'm so glad I still have that DW I got to 120 shortly before chaos patch. That 24 atk buff is win, and it helped me NOT GET BANNED FOR BEING LEGIT. pineappleing Nexon. Any lower and they be hitting the floor instead of below the belt.

Also glad there's no rollback, because last Sunday that same DW got me an angelic ring recipe at MDTs while doing sidekick leech. Would've been hella pissed off if they RB that 1/20000 drop.

@ KhainiWest, you know it's just NexonNA being incompetent here right, and not the entire Nexon company? *trollface* Even more so, they only seem to be messing up GMS and Mabinogi NA lately (not counting CA because it's been fail from the start).

And while yes, NexonNA did mess up very very badly in trying to resolve the situation, but you have to remember who started the situation in the first place: hackers. They are the ones to blame for causing the mess, while NexonNA is only to blame... for making things worse. xd

Except that the hackers, in this instance, didn't create a mess.
The exploit they were using ultimately had zero ramifications on the rest of the game.

In every other case, Nexon is still to blame.
There will always be hackers in every game to ever come into existence.
The amount of damage that the hackers can do is totally relative 1) the games code and 2) the publisher's response team.

First i had to check and see if i got hacked.

Now i'm checking to see if Nexon deleted my UA.

This gets more outrageous everyday, i never face this kind of stuff in any other game, even free to play ones. (well, Trickster came close oddly enough)

Regarding rollback, didn't someone make two characters under the same name before thanks to a rollback? I suspect that says something about character data being stored separately from the rest of the game.

If this was done by the same brain dead moron GM's responsible for banning my Marksman then I'm not surprised at all.

And I'm not going to be surprised when all the "famous" hackers/ dupers get their deleted chars back as well. I've seen one guy smega saying he lost 300bill. He should have been banned months ago for selling thousands of the non booming 20% clean slates and dozens of 301atk cravens/596atk Stonetooths/27at VSS etc...the people running this game have absolutely no idea what they are doing...and it is making Nexon millions.

In this case I didn't want to make it sound like 'lol you guys are stupid trusting nexon to do anything!'. I can sense the frustration and sympathize completely, but it frustrates me that the same people tolerate it. But hey if you're just losing time, whats really stopping you? I just wish the company would sit down and tame this stallion that is maplestory already. It has the potential to be a great game but at this point you're better off wiping it and restarting it from scratch. Instead they took a good idea, strip it of any real creativity, and put minimum effort into maintaining it to gain that "20%" revenue.

Seriously, I don't understand why they chase customers away like this, if customers are willing to put up with it, which they shouldn't, then you should try to improve the service as they genuinely like the game, not beat them away with a stick assuming they have no benefit lol
