how do i obtain these items after chaos?

5 Lidiums
1 Superabrasive
5 Crystals
- 5 Wisdom for Warriors, Thieves, and Slingers, 5 LUK for Mages, Archers, and Brawlers.
30 Sign of Ares
8 Superior Crystals (Level 130+)
level 130 weapon (polearm in my case) recipe

yep, these are the items required to make the level 130 weapons, so far i know:

lidium: mining random rocks around
superabrasive: buy it from the npc, easy
crystals: mining and monster drops
signs of ares: PVP
8 superior crystals: no idea
recipe: exchange signs of ares for it?


basically, i want to know everything possible, in order it would be:
-are there any other ways to get lidium besides mining?
-does lidium appear only in specific places? or do all the mine-able stones drop them?
-crystals still drop from monsters right? at least that's what gms seems to imply
-how hard is it to get signs of ares? is it easier or worse than the old ariant pq? how does it work, by points like ariant, or you get them as a reward at the end? all the info about these is welcome.
-was another way of getting superior crystals found? so far i have heard only dissasembling works, what kind of items need to be dissassembled though? do certain equips give more than others?
-the recipe is gotten from an NPC in exchange for signs of ares right? that's why i need 30 correct?


so yea, these are the questions that came to mind, it's less about how to forge the item, but how to get the required items to forge it. these are just the questions i could think of at the time, if you have anything you might think is even remotely useful to say, please do. i am mostly interested in the recipe/ares questions, and the superior crystals one, seeing how i have no way of obtaining those except after chaos.

I'll answer the first three because I can do so off the top of my head.

The superior crystals are from disassembling level 100-120 equipment for the 90-120 crystal and hoping that it gives you the grade above it (superior crystal).

This as you might imagine is somewhat time consuming.

And the last question, no, you get them by exchanging 6 proof of investment (same as sign of ares) for a RANDOM RECIPE SCROLL in PvP. This is also time consuming, since it's picking from every recipe.

1-well, that just stinks, guess i'll go hunt more lidiums in the FM then, if i am gonna need 8 for a single polearm, ugh.
no problem, if anyone could elaborate i would love it, seeing videos i have seen the "more impressive looking rocks" being in places like ToT and the bottom of ludi and such, so i was wondering if they had a better drop rate of rare ores or something.

you sure? i have seen all over this place that the level 130 recipes were gotten from PVP, which is why i am wondering how, if they are indeed monster drops... there i go, soul lights all over again >.<

I think to forge the 130 equips, you use some of your proof of investments for the recipe(at random) and while forging it, you use more proof of investments

The high level recipes don't drop anywhere i heard. Only PvP trade. Which means 130 face acc/shoulderpad too. ;-;

still, looking for more confirmation on recipes and the such, if recipes are truly random prize, it's gonna be ugh unless i get a good one or something.

I believe some drop from monsters, and others are gotten through PvP. Only people from kMS would really know though, like kreme there.

Only the Big purple rocks drop lithiums. It also drops LUK and Wisdom ores.

For 500 Points of PvP, you get 1 Sign. There are other packs, which are cheaper. I get like 20 - 30 points per round of PvP, so you do the Math, of course, the better you are in PvP (most Ko's) you'll get more points.

No, you need 6(?) to trade for a Random Recipe, which you double click to get, well a random recipe of level130 equipment.

I'm not sure about where the recipe comes from, but if it is from PvP, you'll have to spend Signs to get it and then get another 30 Signs to actually make it. In Ice Knight, I got about 90+ points each round, so it isn't that slow.

-well, logically yes, but can't really trust that one :X and after all, the only 120 equips around are reverse/timeless, so i don't think i can hoard enough of those to dismantle >.< dragon and 100 equips it will be. hopefully in the time it takes me to get a recipe, they get into the market for a "low" price or something

wait, so i only need ONE recipe, and after that i can make all the polearms i want, provided i have the items? if so... NICE!
and was the recipe changed later on, or it hit chaos like that? guess i'll have to get more wisdom crystals then, 8 a try is a lot, even with the reduced cost of proffesions.
and if they are random, guess that benefits the market at least then, so i am not complaining, specially since i now need two lidiums a pop.

so recipes aren't really "lost" but "learned" hm? sounds much better now. still, moe confirmation would be nice.

All recipes are different. Most equipment are available for one use, and most potions are available for one day (after you use the recipe).
