Imo, i think nexon should rollback till the unscheduled sc they did earlier in the morning, just like 12 hours rollback?? better than hellbanning/deleting mesos of innocent people.

All I did yesterday was kill a couple Anegos immediately after the unscheduled maintenance. Then I had to go afk for the rest of the day. So if they roll back I won't lose anything, but I'll also only get compensation on one account. Ah well.

Nexon will never learn, this is what eos told me long time ago:

They need to install a server side throttle so that all communication attempts from player to player, because like 90% of their game they tried to minimize their hardware cost by making the client handle everything. This is why hacking is so bad - Your client defines the world instead of simply interacting with it. The entire paradigm is wrong and I don't think they'll ever try to fix it because it'd be costly and require them to admit they're fundamentally flawed.

I'm fairly certain that were a nexon employee to be browsing forums dedicated to hacking, they would get fired.
Isn't it standard company policy for most companies to generally discourage their employees from, yanno, talking / interacting with individuals dedicated to ruining and modifying their products?

Yeah there was for sure a rollback... I got to level 115, but on the rankings I'm 113 now =(!!! This stinks..can also say goodbye to my 3 lined level 80 earrings I finally found. 5k won't give me back my wasted time! But 20k might *wink wink, Nexon*

I wouldn't use the ranking to see if rollback is in effect or not... But there will obviously be one, the question is, how far back will it go?

I'm also affraid we won't get much give much in return, as they shut down maple quite soon(Nexon time frame of course) after the exploit was made public...

no. hackers dont do that for just 5k nx mp that is useless, why release it, if they can keep it private, make mesos, sell said mesos to mesos seller website, and make way more profit than just 5k mp over 100 accounts?

They release it for: the exploit finder got pissed coz he gave it to a friend and said friend abused it, for fame(e-penor(be well-know over the hacking community)), or just to screw around.

Most of the exploit finder don't release it, because they make profit off exploits, who release it are people that leeched it and then want to get some fame over a few online people, or to get it patched(rare).
