Seems as it will be patched anyway,
People were sending the packets for taking damage on a CB with meso guard, but changing it to negitive damage.
instead of taking meso people were gaining meso in the millions per click

The exploit from what I see wasn't even out long enough to cause damage.

2 hours is plenty of time to make billions of mesos and go to the FM to buy out most shops. Plus having the hack be publicized over a half dozen hack sites doesn't make it any better D:

Ok 2 hours I did nothing. A 2 hour roll back shouldn't kill anyone>.> If people really get as low exp as they claim in 2 hours then this will hurt no one other than the hackers. I see it as a win win right now.

Players get their money back
Hack is patched
Hackers probably get banned.

Sorta funny how much you do a for a quick buck in a game just to lose it..

I am not amused at how much the hackers are trying to force a rollback yet again thanks to the meso exploit.

I just hope I don't lose my items I xferred from my pally to my DW as I was leveling him up. I remember reading posts during the last RBs in where people lost items they moved from character to character.

I'll lose 6% DEX and be pretty upset about that.

The leechers need a lvl +70 CB to make use of the exploit, so maybe that helps minimize the damage?

Anyway. I have a feeling that this exploit must has been running around privately for a while and that the real hackers will make a profit out of this "forced" rollback (once again).

I hope to gawd that they have a 24hr rollback. I need my mesos back from a scam . Plus, it'd get rid of a bigger group of mesos. I'm pretty sure people were secretive for quite some time with this.

If meso exploit can get their attention this fast, I have no idea why they haven't done anything to fix dc hacking. It's existed for years, and I don't think they've even done so much as to acknowledge it. So many high levels (potential nx buyers) are kept away from Nexon's pocketbook because of this hack that I'd really think it'd be almost of this importance on their agenda.

I posted several time's on hime's thread about it, and am hoping for a response.

Hm, they'll probably roll back to this morning at latest+ban all characters that were directly involved. And all IP/MAC addresses that exploited this before that time will be blocked.

Then if past experiences are any indication, they'll forget some aspect of the exploit and we'll have another issue with more widespread bannings ;P

I don't know why many people (not necessarily on here) are implying that there are chances there isn't a rollback..
There actually HAS to be a rollback because there isn't really any other way to eliminate/delete the mesos that the CB's/Shadowers gained with the exploit. I'm pretty darn sure Nexon's not gonna go through each player, lmfao. They can't/will not know for sure WHO exactly was using this meso exploit.

They had DC hacks fixed then they found a new way around it. DC hacks are different I believe and aren't as threating as this. Pick and choose.
