 Summary of things that matter the most...

• VPQ was removed because Nexon had trouble intergrating it with BB. They plan on having it come back, but not for a while.
  
• Chaos patches confirmed for this summer (nothing we don't already know)
  
• Nexon still would like to do an expansion on Masteria (and they have plans for it), but it's not being worked on actively at the moment.
  
• GPQ is being reworked along with the guild system overhaul.
  
• Golden Temple confirmed for next month.
  
• No new classes, no map changes.
  
• Nexon is in discussions about server restructuring to help those unpopulated worlds like Yellonde without the need to merge servers.

» So, short answer is it was intended to remove the Visitors PQ.
» But only because we could not implement it fully after Big Bang.

Kinda impressed that they'll bring back vpq and that they didn't have stopped working on masteria (not definitely at least). Their reason for monster book removal just made me laugh. Also I'm happy to see they'll merge the unpopulated worlds. Nexon deserve a 4.5 star for this.

Their answer for VPQ is bullpomegranate. All they need to do is add an NPC and then edit the monster's HP, Exp, W/M Att, and M/PDR. Honestly, is that hard?

Well what if they wanna change the maps? Boss? Maybe change the monsters animations. All that would have to be incorporated. Plus you gotta test it out and balance so the monsters aren't too powerful.

I love how the Nexon team is often never on the same page as their userbase.

I don't think they should. If they really wanna balance it is has to be all the pqs. Ontop of that they should really fix up the weapons. It puts everything else to shame..

Regarding VPQ question:
The last line was will it 'be making a comeback", I didn't realize it was cut off when I typed it lol.

The way she added: "It'll be hard" when it obviously is not, makes me think that this is the first time they even heard of the issue f3 Though they did say they were aware of people still being able to complete it. I won't hold my breath till there's a copy pasteable fix for them.

Here's hoping they bring back the monster book. Isaac/Sarah will be ecstatic to hear that.

Greetings Basilers,

thank you all for coming to the secret BasilChat with Team GMS! It was a quick, mostly unannounced chat with a group of Nexon staff about upcoming content and how things are run. If you missed out, iamflip was good enough to post a log and summary of the chat.

Our apologies for the server crash and downtime towards the last couple of minutes of the chat. The problem was not too many users, in fact the server handled things splendiferously even with over 300 chatters. The problem was that our server was attacked. We are now investigating this. Our apologies for the downtime and inconvenience.

Now the question arises, how much of it will they keep to their word?

Well they said they thought people didn't like it, so it's obvious they know people are upset it's gone. Like I said, hopefully they'll re-implement it.
