My response is going to be totally indignant and unnecessarily uncooperative because it is clearly what this event has been reduced to:

So you expect me to put away the only chance I have at getting any of Snow Crystals, that I paid you for, because you think pets are the main problem? At least with the pet, even with a hacker, a full tree explosion (as opposed to the spit one Crystals at a time) will net me a few Crystal due to its instantaneous pickup. Not to mention, many hackers don't even need your dumb pets to loot which leaves me at a further disadvantage because you clearly are unable to stop anyone who doesn't obviously and probably innocently carries a pet around with them.

Also, how about you do some work and follow the hackers around for a bit, you might find their mains or their scroll stash and you can help us out that way too, instead of seeing and banning the hacker on the spot. Oh wait, you definitely cannot do that because as I alluded to in a separate thread the hackers already had you beat at least three or four days before the patch/event started since White Scrolls were already flooding the market when your dumb tree had not even made it public yet.

Fix the Cash Shop and pay everyone who helped in the thread here at SP because we obviously have been doing your work for you for quite some time.

By the end, I realized I was no longer simply commenting, but ranting at an invisible Nexon, heh heh.

5 of his 9 use items last 1/10 of the time stated. (You can see it in the extractions, I didn't actually try them all out).
I've logged a ticket about it, but doubt it will even be looked at before the event ends.
Still getting a few of those drop things for bossing, and the speed things for just in case Nexon ever fixes them.

And I agree with you about pets. I live 10,000 miles from nexon, even without hackers and vaccers I'd have no chance of looting anything without a pet. With it, I can at least get a few blues and the occasional gold.

Oh, and I like how this "Important Notice" is on the forums, not the game website. Not that everyone checks the website, but even fewer people check the forums. Still, wouldn't do to admit on the main page that an event was ill-designed, would it?

And to disable all haste/fj/tele skills and gear, like JQ maps. Interesting that they did disable regular mounts, but not jaguars. Discrimination much?

Same in Scania. And to make things worse, a lot of them have similar names, leading me to believe its just a few people with multiple comps/characters mass farming.

I personally have no problems with pets in there, as after all, that's what pets are for (picking things up). The problem is the illegit use/modification of pets.

We all know Nexon is often too lazy to patch things up, though that would be the obvious solution (I mean...there's a hack, patch the hack would be common sense), but one thing I've noticed is that all these hackers have little to negative fame. Simply allow characters over certain fame in (for example, 0) while encouraging people to defame these hackers. I know that in Scania, that'll at least clear out like...15 channels, perhaps even more, especially if people knew defaming would do the trick.

GMs who know anything about this game could identify the hackers as easily as we can, but I guess we have to help them.

Same with Khaini, by the 3rd or 4th day, every channel had a vaccer. The only good thing that can come out of this mishap is the price of WS just bombing. They're already 60-80mil in Khaini and people are expecting them to bomb even further in a couple days.

Another thing is this: Posting on their forums is pretty useless in my opinion. Perhaps Im incorrect here, but how many people actually check the nexon forums? I for one do not, and none of my friends do either. If I didnt browse southperry, I wouldnt even know they've asked us to put away our pets (which I have not, as I did not see this till now). They put everything else important on the front page as a notice where everyone can see, so why not this?

Because they dont want the negative PR, as they will never publicly admit any dramatic errors in places that people check regularly.

Um... hackers won't affect the prices of white scrolls. It's not like the tree would explode with nobody around to loot the gold flakes. There are only so many to go around in the first place.

if you take windia for example, Its full of those vaccers, How you seen how the pet loot thing works? goes pretty fast, people are gonna get depressed when they dont get many of them , then they go emo ,and hackers could If they wanted to, Monopolize the White scrolls (from the event that is)

Yup.

It's pretty sad how hackers are practically running this game. I don't even bother doing this event at all because of all the DC and vac hackers while Nexon doesn't do a living s'hit about it.

Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I thought the hackers were relying on the uninformed legits to turn in the ornaments and make the tree explode? What's the point of DC hacking if it ends up stopping the very people they were relying on?

Am I the only one that quit (again) as soon as this event came out expecting this pomegranate?
