I eat rice for almost every dinner. Once in a while, it's noodles. But very rarely.

iono about others but for vietnamese people, most of the time that u see ur parents they will ask u (translated word-by-word): "Have you eaten rice?", it can pretty much replace breakfast/lunch/dinner/meal, etc.

I think Hispanic people eat a good amount of rice.

At least we do where I'm from. I ate rice, meat and beans today. Oh, and some flour tortillas Cool

Uh, in Chinese you do say "Hello," but "have you eaten?" is also a polite and acceptable way to greet someone (usually someone you are familiar with). The word for rice just happens to be synomynous with food.

Your- ... nvm...

But still, why do you want to dis on high-carb food? It solves hunger, and it made Wang Lung rich! Not to mention China produces enough rice in a year to supply themselves for 7 years (at some point in history).

Being Asian gives you a greater chance of eating rice on a per day basis, unless you really go out of your way to get some, marry someone Asian, or know someone Asian that will cook for you. Being white, I have a greater chance of eating noodles and potatoes and such.[/COLOR]
