A puppeteer class would be amazing. It would be cool if, like someone suggested, you could control a mob.
I was thinking, a skill that you could control a mob fully (move, jump, attack) to your advantage. Even if some mobs had nifty buffs, you could use them to buff your character! Big Grin

I really like the idea of an Android class. A completely new class with no ties whatsoever to what we have now. And it would be great if they introduced a few races (like other people said). I dunno what the Android class could be capable of, but just the idea alone is cool sounding. It'd be hard to differentiate ideas, skills and such from the Mechanic and an Android class, though.

Yeah, we need more content.

But it would be fun to see a Sniper Rifle class.

Isn't a Sniper Rifle class the same as a marksman except with less ridiculous looking weapons?

SuperNerd Wrote:I like the Plant-Archer idea, though. The ability to hold monsters in place for unleashing a barrage of arrows on would be lovely. Not sure what other things they could add to that, however.

Bee swarm attack that replaces Hawk?
Skill where they recover HP when hit by Fire and gain a weakness to Ice.
Small sun that buffs party members when they stand under it?
Conjure a sweet smelling beautiful flower that acts as their Puppet I guess.
Improved HP recovery because they draw in nutrients through their roots.
Maybe give them something like leaf storm or giga drain. Nexon doesn't have any qualms about pulling content straight from other franchises and making no attempt to disquise it.(Shonen Jump CS equips last Halloween, Yellow Robot Chair, Scouter CS item, etc)
They could get another flower summon that spreads toxic spores around it.

Maybe I'll make a skill build of my own one of these days.

Hm... This just made me think of a potential gameplay mechanic. Let's say there's a class with a new skill that lets the character target a monster, kind of like one of the Night Lord and Gunslinger's skills. The difference is that this one works in a way where the character's attacks recieve a damage bonus, increased enemy defense piercing, and even a greater chance of instant kill/instant 500k damage the further away the targeted monster is, and the exact opposite happens if the monster is too close. Monsters that aren't under the effects of the targeting would recieve normal damage though.

How would they target the monster without somehow getting rid of the ones in the way that doesn't leave your character open to be hit? I'm assuming they can't do something that involves manually clicking the monster since that seems to be function that only opens up the Monster Book.

I suppose there could be a scope on one monster that shows up when you use the skill, and you could keep tapping it to move the cursor to the next monster and so on.

This. And we need better end-game content. I mean... Time Temple is great and all, but it's not really something that's daunting or bad ass for an end-game area. Training in Time Temple becomes extremely boring, as the scenery there isn't exactly the most interesting. They need more tougher-looking areas by scenery, but not necessarily monsters. If we had daunting areas that would seem a bit "scary" (and I use that term loosely) to lower-levels, the end-game content would be that much more bad ass and more people would strive to get there. Don'cha think?

Hey, Zombies are level 132 now, what else do you want? Actually... it'd be great if the Castle in Elnath was the final area of the game.

For some reason I can see the castle of El Nath as another Black Magician location...

Oh, and I forgot: Masteria themed classes. IE, Wind Raiders, Storm Breakers...

I'd like to see the Maple team recreate DFO's witch into maple.
Just to see if they could actually do it.

I'd prefer a Magic Swordsman/Magic Knight-type class.

Let it have something like elemental attacks(No lolcharges, just something like the generic Flame Slash and etc, just attacks with an elemental attribute.) and work off a STR/INT build. We all know gear wouldn't be a problem with this, since none of the Warrior armors have a DEX requirement.
Give it two seperate job paths, one based on furthering itself with physical attacks and the use of a shield, the Arcana Knight (Have a skill that enhances elemental resistances or something when equipped with a shield), and one based more on magic, the Spell Blader (It would have a passive skill, like a Magic Rage of sorts, that would lower w.atk and raise m.atk, to make up for the lower magic dmg multiplier, or something of the kind.)
And so on and so forth.

Would be interesting, at least.

@above.

Possible warrior that has it's weapons float? Somewhat like DFO battle mage, and LaTale 3rd job subclass of Blader?

i think they should flesh out the existing classes. even the ones with stories only go so far and end with no real resolutions. i'd like to see deeper stories with class based bosses like cygnus, and extra skills and sp gained through doing story quests

Or it could summon a sword made with pure mana, and would progressively upgrade via passive skills.

Having a Puppeteer job interests me for obvious reasons - there just can't be ONE puppeteer in ALL of Maple World....where and how did he learn those skills? (lolseduce) :v And, hm, Master of Disguise job would make for some interesting quests... ;P NPC jobs anyone...no? Okay.

I think if they advertised that Adventurers were the first to fight against the Black Magician, they should put an optionable storyline that supports that, not ignore it after making that statement. :v Pirate only comes close with that small quest chain where you fight the Black Magician's Disciple (argh) at the end...

And on the other hand, more high level content/maps so we don't have people fighting over the few good training maps... :/

2 Resistance classes are on their way? Is this confirmed or are you just pulling this information outta your ass?
