Classes MS could use? - Tay - 2010-08-02 Rather then the latest crap classes, what could MS use? Only new classes I liked after pirate were Aran, and Mech so far. I'd like to see an Artist class. Subclasses be Bard and Dancer, Bard->Guitar&Magic and Dancer->Shoes&Melee. Any others?
Classes MS could use? - Sn1perJohnE - 2010-08-02 Id like to see an actual battle mage, One that uses str and INT for its stats. Classes MS could use? - Tay - 2010-08-02 Oi! I'd like to see summoner maybe, but I'm not sure how that would work with MS. Classes MS could use? - Roxas - 2010-08-02 Kickboxer would be cool. Amazon á la Diablo 2 (Javalin ones). Necromancer? Classes MS could use? - Arrg - 2010-08-02 WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE CLASSES. WE NEED CONTENT. NEW TRAINING SPOTS, NEW BOSSES, NEW ITEMS. B>12x-14x training spot. Classes MS could use? - Hanabira.Kage - 2010-08-02 Tay Wrote:Oi! Probably very few attacks where the character itself attacks (probably 1 per Job). Something like...
1st Job: 1 attack skill (20 SP), 2 summons (15 SP each), Magic Guard (15 SP). (short of 4 SP) 2nd Job: 1 attack skill (20 SP), passive upgrades for 1st Job summons (10 SP each), 1 new summon (15 SP), Summoning Mastery (20 SP), Booster (20 SP), 1 buffing summon (10 SP), Teleport (20 SP). (short of 4 SP) 3rd Job: 1 attack skill (30 SP), 2 new summons (20 SP each), passive upgrade for 2nd Job summon (20 SP), 3 new buffing summons (20 SP each). (1 extra SP) 4th Job: 1 attack skill (30 SP), Expert Summoning (30 SP), another passive upgrade for the 2 1st Job summons (30 SP), passive upgrade for 2nd Job summon (20 SP), passive upgrades for 3rd Job summons (20 SP), passive upgrade for all buffing summons (30 SP), ultimate summon (30 SP), New buffing summon (30 SP), Maple Hero/Warrior (30 SP), Hero's Will (10 SP). (240 SP total, so 3 extra SP) Each summon will be of a different element, and only one summon can be active at any one time. When a summon is, well, summoned, 2 special skills (the power of which is dependent on the summon's skill level) will be available for use. These skills are to be activated like the combo skills utilised by Aran (i.e. arrow key + arrow key + attack). Both these special skills will have a short cooldown time, so you'll be forced to use your own attack skills anyway. There are exceptions to this summon thing; all buffing summons and the ultimate summon can be called upon even if you have a summon active at the time. These summons appear to do their job and immediately disappear afterward (in other words, they're summons in name & appearance only). Classes MS could use? - Teppi - 2010-08-02 i always liked the idea of elements but the original paladins dont suppose to have that many elements no? i think this job would be much better and makes much more sense Ultimate element master - mage hero (not like evan and battlemage) 1st job (10-29): Earth Element 2nd job (30-69): Water Element 3rd job (70-119): Fire Element 4th job (120-179)- Air Element 5th job (180-200)- Aether <<<<the ultimate last job where 4 elements gets boosted up higher and to the same level, at the same time many elements can be combined together or all 4 elements combined (kinda like "holy" but more epic) Classes MS could use? - Hanabira.Kage - 2010-08-02 Teppi Wrote:i always liked the idea of elements but the original paladins dont suppose to have that many elements no? i think this job would be much better and makes much more sense Why do I sense an Avatar fan?
Classes MS could use? - Zeanion - 2010-08-02 Three classes we could possibly use are bard, summoner, and a warlock type class. For bards..referring to another game I've played bards added physical/magical resistances, did dances to increase dmg\decrease mp consumption ect(need at least 2 bards for that), recovered mp ect. so possibly something along those lines. A summoner...I'm not sure about this one. Maybe have something related to monster cards in what you can summon, get certain buffs from w/e you summon, use it to passivly attack. (who wouldn't want to summon snails or balrogs around....or maybe give it mini versions of bosses to summon? )For warlock, it would be the stereotypical 'dot'/debuff class of most other games. Give it Dot (damage over time) skills that actualy kill (unlike poison). Because threaten from pages is a good enough debuff, maybe it can blind, slow, seal, confuse, ect. Although there's no way they would allow this to work on a boss. Maybe allow it to stack DoT skills? Using zakum for example, Allow it to cast DoT's on the arms and have these skills continually attack separate parts (for a bit) while the warlock focuses his attention elsewhere. And for the main body stack however many DoT's it gets on the body and then use a regular attacks until the dots run out of time. ![]() With so many classes though I think they would need to raise the max a party could hold to maybe 8 so other classes can jump in too. Classes MS could use? - Cephei - 2010-08-02 a shotgun class Classes MS could use? - Duelman - 2010-08-02 Three musketeers style rapier class that fights with swords and magic, mabye have the stats be INT and DEX and have both matk/atk involved with different skills. Or an amazon style warrior kinda like in diablo 2 who can use javelins. Classes MS could use? - Nikkey - 2010-08-02 From Dofu: A sacrier class. Whenever one (non-sacrier) character in your party receives damage, the sacrier will sacrifice themselves in order to lower that damage. Classes MS could use? - Solarboy - 2010-08-02 An alchemist. I allways wanted to create my potions with etc drops, They could have a homunculous that would be upgraded every job. They could use int and str. Classes MS could use? - Eos - 2010-08-02 Grammar....general literacy... etiquette... economics...deductive reasoning... basic math ... self responsibility ... debate...
Classes MS could use? - Devil - 2010-08-02 A Morph class, that transforms into multiple shapes, for speed, power, agility or support... Something like a Druid in WoW...

L> Black Mage's dimension of darkness with lvl 160-200 training spots Classes MS could use? - Deviant - 2010-08-02 I'd like to see new elements on Mages. Dark Earth I'd also like to see a warrior class that can dual weild 1h axes and 1h BWs, if only so people actually start using those items, right now they're pointless weapons. Classes MS could use? - sinisterboy9 - 2010-08-02 I really don't think we need anymore classes. And what, we still have 5 more coming our way? (3 heroes, 2 resistance) When was the last time they release an actual area? (Not counting home town maps, like Edelstein) Classes MS could use? - AltCtrlDlt - 2010-08-02 sinisterboy9 Wrote:I really don't think we need anymore classes. But seriously, MS is long overdue for a new area. I miss the good old days of being able to explore a new area with a new perspective and do all of the quests for the first time (I'm looking at you KFT, Ariant) Edit: On-topic: Class that uses totems anyone? It couldn't be too far-fetched, as Astaroth uses them. |
