So once MS2 is released to KMS..

Why is everyone assuming that statless are screwed? Is there any proof of this, or did someone just jump to that conclusion and everyone else repeats? I've been following most of the threads and have yet to see proof of this. And if that screenshot of the bishop using big bang is considered proof, I don't consider missing 1 out of 25 or 30 hits very catastrophic. No doubt that they have changed the rules, but its more likely everyone misses more often.

No, Lukless magicians are missing 100%, even on lower leveled monsters, iirc.

In another thread, someone who plays KMST said their level 12x Battle Mage was missing on monsters 20 levels lower than it.

Missing always, or missing once in a while? Missing just once would be notable and disturbing when you are used to never missing.

Also on previous response 'iirc' means not firsthand knowledge, so again is there proof or just hearsay?

Missing about 97% of the time from what they said.

Because they ran in there thinking "Oh, I don't need luk to hit anything". Once people crack the acc formula, they can build characters to have minimal base stats, but still hit higher leveled mobs. At this point, it's a shot in the dark whether or not you can hit something given a primary stat and b secondary.

To everyone saying they'll have SP disappearing on them, you won't. If a skill was removed, you'll get however many points that were in it back in your SP window. Same for lowered mastery levels. Of course the 1st job SP cannot go into 2nd job SP, and so on.

If it only works like this, existing Vipers are f'ucked in the ass. None of our skills' mastery levels were changed, so we're not going to ever be able to put points into Critical Punch.

I really don't feel like making ANOTHER Night Lord when this pomegranate comes out. Hopefully, they'll be nice and work something out that's reasonable.

Didn't the energy bubble get reduced to 20 from 40? that's 20 points right there.

But that's in 3rd job. Max said that those points would only be able to be used for 3rd job. No Critical Punch. Sad

Dungeon & Fighter is run by Nexon Korea.
Nexon Korea gave away free Skill resets when they tinkered with the skills in Dungeon & Fighter.

Guys shut up, it's annoying when people complain about nothing we know about.

Dusk Wrote:You know, there's really nothing to argue about here. The game does not tell you to follow a specific build. Nexon does not care if you go statless or not. Sure, the game is set up with a two stat build in mind, but people will always powergame, and make the most efficient use of what they have. There's nothing wrong with that, but keep in mind that Nexon is under no obligation to perpetuate the superiority of the currently most popular builds. The "most efficient" build can change based on their whims (though hopefully the changes lead to a more diverse, balanced game). That's really too bad if your current build is screwed over. Get over it.

Warriors are a one stat class. Dex is not a secondary stat for Warriors.

While I agree that there is no obligation by Nexon to perpetuate the superiority of the statless builds, I do think something needs to be done if a currently effective build becomes virtually unplayable.

LUKless mages apparently cannot hit hardly anything after the update. This is not something they can simply "get over," they require a complete AP reset so their character can become playable. They shouldn't have to spend a few hundred bucks just so they can hit something. Besides, what about the LUKless elemental wands that are in the game now, not to mention all of the maple weapons? Doesn't that encourage a statless build?

Conversely, by your reasoning, if Warriors are indeed a one stat class, why does Nexon encourage us to add points into DEX?

Regardless, I believe resets are necessary for both SP and AP, though whether you use them or not should be up to the player. I hope, especially for the mages sake, that Nexon takes this into consideration. Just my two cents~ Tongue1

Since you can put later advancement SP into past ones, if Critical Punch is from 1st/2nd/3rd you could put points into it.

Nexon has absolutely responsibility to give back any sp or ap over what build you chose to do. In fact, they even recommend you to follow the regular dex build with the auto ability function. If you chose to do your own style its your own fault and you must accept the consequences of the build you chose.

It even says in their agreement that anything is due to change and you must accept that with every choice you make. The fairest way is for them to give you back sp on skills they removed or changed, otherwise if what skill may have been "good to you at the time", may not have been "good to another person", there is no way to justify who was right, so they can't just go along giving sp back to everyone who put points into ultimates because they thought it was the best when some other guy went the big bang route.

I think the accuracy formula is kinda silly.

Why?

Think about it, sure everyone is getting MASSIVELY buffed, but they're also getting a bigger miss ratio!

So if you did 50 million damage per hour, never missing once.

What good is it getting 100% stronger, when a good 40% of your hits get converted into misses? At best that's only a some more extra damage.

It makes the idea of being rebalanced a lot less pleasurable. I really hope the accuracy formula isn't THAT screwed over in higher levels.
