The only way to find out is wait and see. We can't predict what Nexon is going to do next.

Can't know for sure until it's actually released to KMS. As far as I know NexonKR hasn't announced any plans on free SP/AP resets.

I don't even know if ~less builds are popular there as well. But yeah, I guess everyone will get resets. They should.

Either Nexon pulls a moneymaking scheme into this, like they always do
or they actually become generous and give resets.
Never happened before, so why should it now?

I'm sure they didn't just make these changes and then not think things through. Come on, think about it for a few minutes. They'll probably have something for the billion characters out there.

From what I know so far in KMST they gave back all the SP from skills that were removed or had their max level lowered.
That still kinda screws over new 3rd and 4th jobbers, though, who possibly threw their points into a skill that was significantly weakened, or outshined by other skills after the patch. (Sup 4th job mages)

You just made me think about that. LOL @ Those level 120 ~ 130 Arch Mages who didn't put their points in their secondary skills and went pure ultimates. I know quite a few people who do that and will be screwed if they don't get points into their current secondary skills by time the patch comes around.

My guess is that they will give skill resets, and they will give a certain amount of AP resets. They dont need to reset all the AP to allow people to put what theyll now need.

There was the thing with dual bladers.

I seriously hope they wont.
Big middle finger to all the 1upping losers that play dexless/lukless/whatever.
Sure there are plenty of nice people, but most of the people that play stuff like that deserve it.

Technically most of the people who did it, did so because they were told it was right, or the only way, or the best way, and did it out of an ignorant sheep mentality.
The ones who are absolute asses about it and flaunt their alleged superiority are the minority and it's wrong to punish the ignorants for the crimes of the asses.

Lol. You always comment on top your pedestal. No I didn't do it out of an "ignorant sheep mentality." And the fact is I out damage a lot of normal and low dex NLs, with a lot less funding b/c I don't have to worry about spending on dex equips, plus it is a lot more versatile since i can take off overalls and ears for HP equips and not have to worry about not having enough dex to wear my claw. And I figured when I'm ready to use a lampion / sleve / craven, i'll get enough dex equips to remain dexless. Now, if for some reason the added dex =/= base dex, then i'll add dex. But my guess is it will be equal, so I'll be fine.
In your case, you really need to learn to talk with more humility. I really can't think of any exceptionally brilliant or successful people who flaunt their intelligence in every day situations. You may be a brilliant individual not yet introduced to reality. Or you may be a less than brilliant individual who dreams of being a genius, and tries to overcompensate and pretend to be what they're not by talking down to people.

Didn't they give out free SP resets when they changed how dual blader SP saving worked?

I haven't said a single thing that flaunts any aspect of myself over anyone else, or in any way implies superiority.
All I've said is the majority of people who did this succumbed to peer pressure, which is very real in this game, just like many others, and a number of people will always be susceptible to it.
I never stated I didn't do the same thing, wasn't one of them, or that this in any way made them inferior. I was quite clearly defending those people as having been innocent of any crime if you note.
Whatever you're inferring is coming from your own assumptions about me and has no basis in factual reality.

You're putting way too much thought into this.
I made a LUKless Bishop because I informed myself about game formulas, economy, items, and whatnot. And it was just better, cheaper, stronger, and prettier to make a LUKless mage, I felt no pressure about it, I just knew it would be better working in the game the way it works. It's like knowing a warrior needs STR to be strong, k? You pineappleing raise STR. No big pomegranate, that's just how it is. Now they suddendly tell you LOL GUESS WHAT YOU'LL SUCK IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH STR.
wat.
That's a slap in the face. A slap that will make a lot of old players mad.
I think they could still manage to pull a money-making scheme and keep old players if they made the prices of AP/SP resets much less ridiculous. In other games you don't have to pay more than 5 dollars to reset your WHOLE status or skills. In Maple Story that's almost the price to reset ONE point. That's just stupid. They can either give free resets, or start selling low priced universal resets.

They have to give skill resets, they don't have to give AP resets however.
This is assuming this will even get out of the beta phase. Nexon is obviously testing this and they might decide it's pointless and throw it in the trash.

Point is, they're not only changing skills. They're changing the acc formula (affected now by your secondary stat, be it str, luk, dex), as well as damage formulas, like the magic attack formula, which seems will also be affected by luk. If you're changing both things, why only offer resets for one? o_o
This is not a matter about people being sheep, or about if you like or dislike particular conducts or builds, who cares about that. It's about customer service. Changing formulas and skills and not offering cheap/free resets = customers raging and quitting.

Because people didn't have to go statless? Almost every equip in this game needs to have two stats to equip, the fact that those people choose to go statless for more power is their fault.
If people didn't have statless characters it wouldn't be a problem with Nexon changing the acc formula. Skills are a completely different story.

Free? lol....
Knowing Nexon they pull out their SP/AP reset bundle for "extra cheap".
So I guess every average current player "only" needs to spend 50 bucks on maple now... :')
No really, I really don't think they will allow resetting everything for free... it's still Nexon, and you can always train on Henesys Hunting Ground for exp... :')
