Predictions on the Crimsonwood Keep expansion?
#21
I have a feeling the rocks on the mountain on the way to the keep will have something to do with the inside. There are fists and even a dragon-ish looking head rock chained up.

anyone notice in the map with the gurdians, on the top left section, theres a chain hanging, and if you jump on it and hold jump, u can climb it jumping repeadedly, but u can't reach the top. maybe thats going to be the secret way to get past that barrier jack was talking about

If anyone read the story, they would know that the inside will start off with the guild locations of the currupt guilds (aka Stormbreakers?Windweavers and such.)

Also the Versal Grandmastermages, and Some kind of giant stone golem!

Since Masteria has traditionally been the mold-breaker of all of MapleStory so far, I could easily see the next area being a huge RPG-style "final boss" like area where you have to plow through hordes of enemies. On top of that, I could see them doing something (which would be REALLY cool) where you fight alongside the soldiers in the imminent war spoken of by Jack Barricade and other NPCs in the new CWK quests. These warriors act like a secondary party, and are basically NPCs fighting with you, using new skills and other awesome stuff.

At the end I'd love to see the first-ever multi-boss fight, where you have to fight all 4 GrandMasters at once in a giant, 2x-the-size-of the Zakum map or something like that. A grand final showdown for an amazingly cool and difficult place.

It seems like a really far-off place for a PQ, but I guess it's possible. If the monsters guarding the outside were already 120, I wonder if that means what's inside is going to be even stronger.

they did say the Crimsonwood Chapter would end with a bang, and an epic boss fight wouldn't be any better way. :p

I know this prediction might disappoint some people, but I think that the second part of crimsonwood won't come out till october. Why, you ask? Because the whole place is heavily themed toward halloween. What better for a halloween than a huge scary boss area and battle for the high levels, and a halloween event for everyone else?

Well the next patch IS gonna come out in October anyway I reckon, unless there's going to be a bug fixing patch between that time.

There will be a nx quest inside the castle.

I think it's going to be a pq maybe an alliance pq because jack tells us to find an army to fight off the soldiers and the grandmasters what better army would we be able to find than multiple guilds working together? 0.o

Most likely the 4 Grandmasters for a boss battle, and some monsters higher than level 120. I wouldn't see the point of making a level 120 Guardian and then not having anything stronger in the the Keep. Tongue It's definitely going to be a great update.

Ah, now that would be telling. Don't worry, we plan on having No Mercy. =)

^ NxProse answered my question earlier on. :3

Perhaps we should figure out what "No Mercy" means. xD

perhaps this will look like the same ol' bitching... (and it's because it kinda is) but i see nexon adding something pretty cool, like someone said in an earlier post, big pq with an awesome boss fight. what's the catch? you'll need a nx outfit to enter during the first month... or maybe forever.

i hope not and i hope the person that said the giant pq with the first ever multi-boss fight is right. 4 bosses (the 4 grandmasters or something) and 4 parties, and you'd need to carefully select the parties to fight one boss each party. that would be awesome... Glitter

I wonder if there will be "senior" types of all the Versal guilds inside the castle,
(ie like the difference between captain and private) with a better badge drop rate than their "inferior" guildmates. (>_>)

They want this to work out because it is important for overall masterian story. Like Isaac said in another thread, the haunted house was just a extra filler that had minor links to the rest of the continent, but overall can be completely ignored. And to the NPC idea, that'd be awesome!! But NPC's shouldn't be able to do damage, and if they do minor damage. It'd be better if they gave us insane buffs, like +100 w. att, +500 m. att, + x ammount of avoid, etc.
