I guess I'm just trying to say it sounds kinda awkward if it's used in English... it's just awkward and I've never heard people use Boba in English... they usually call it Bubble Tea. How do non Chinese even pronounce Boba?
In Canto, Boba (the exact characters) also means.... :O

The Canto people I know refer to it as 珍珠奶茶. People in Sydney tend to translate that directly, so it becomes Pearl Milk Tea.

Yeah, I hear people use that too. But in English, it's Bubble Tea still. Maybe it's just a regional thing.
