Cyanne Wrote:I kind of think that the level limit for this quest will be level 70, since that's when you can do the keystone quests. There's no point in Lukan and Jack telling you to raid the castle or whatever if you can't even enter due to your level.

Anyways, I have pretty low expectations for this. The only thing I'm hoping for here is that this quest does not make the game worse off through, for example, a level 120+ counterpart to the opq glitch or another bigfoot incident.
You mean like how you get set and finish the Pap quests at 60, then get stalled out for 20 levels before you can actually enter at 80?

Now, I don't think Nexon America would do that, but it's not something unusual. It's happened before.

Also here's full size Horntail for size comparison.

HT:714px tall
CK thing: 1404 px tall

WAYYYYYY bigger. This dwarfs horntail.

I'm pretty sure the part that they actually tell you to kill pap is level 80 though. As in the kill gatekeepers/thanatos for the medal thing. I guess the preceding quests are just there so that you can get them done early if you'd like.

Also, just because the Crimson Gaurdians are level 120 doesn't mean the PQ will be 120+. PQ's, their bosses, and the monsters inside and outside of them have never matched up to the level limit.

Bosses like HT or zakum are different than a PQ boss. You don't even need to do the HT pq to fight HT, and you only need to do the zak PQ once to fight zakum. You don't even have to have a party during the zak PQ.

Orbis PQ, Kerning PQ, Pirate PQ, and so on, are different. The bosses and monsters where the PQs take place match with the level ranges of the characters in the PQ and the monsters in the surrounding area. CWK PQ will most likely be the same. You actually have to go through the PQ to fight the boss at the end.

Honestly...... do you see how friggin huge that statue is? How can that thing be for lvl 100's....:f6:. HT would go crying for its mommy if it had to fight something like that.

Wow I need to get my ass training some more..... Brawlas will get his ass wooped by that thing if I don't get him higher level.

You're 140. I think you're setting your expectations a bit too high.

well if he's twice the size of horntail he might be twice as bad ass Rolleyes. I still can't hit HT, and if this thing is even harder....... then ouch

Combattente Wrote:If the PQ was with the level ranges and different difficulties, it'd ruin everything, because it's not how the storyline should be.
I don’t really see how it would ruin the story. It’s not like killing the same boss over and over again makes any sense story wise anyway. So killing it at different difficulties depending on your level doesn’t seem that bad an idea. To me it equates to something along the lines of playing a game on easy/normal/hard difficulty. It doesn’t affect the story just the game play. But like I said I think there is a 0% chance it is level ranged anyway.

For people that want a visual representation of that.

The statue is just that, a statue (for the moment).

In fact that statue could have nothing to do at all with the PQ itself.

What should I say then?

Combattente is 97, and he's gonna get eaten by Christopher Crimsonheart. Frown

from what i hear from other classes, 10% at 110 is at the low end :|, id still like an alternative that speeds things up a bit than just sitting in one place killing stuff and barely lvling over time.

That statue could be just something like the background. Also, just because it's bigger doesn't mean it's stronger.

^This.
Since the weapons are all glowing, this gives me the idea that when Nexon said "party members split up" they meant that all the party members were the 5 classes, and they all have to complete a challenge to retrive statue weapon pieces like in OPQ. Then when all the pieces are in, a door opens and you fight the final boss.

Btw IMO, I think this boss is a bit big for a PQ. Maybe for something like Zak or HT, but not for a regular PQ you do over and over.

Uh, that'd kind of be extremely retarded because...well, how many 120+ pirates do you know?

I guess now we finally know why crimson guardians have 4 arms. What it drops is the big question though.

Not to mention that excludes lots of people.

If that was the case it'd be

-Drk
-Bish
-BM/MM
-NL/Shad (probably NL Frown)
-Pirate (probably Bucc)
-Archmage (seeing as prose hinted youll need elements)

Great, Corsairs, Shadowers, Heros and Paladins all get passed over.

Besdies, it said almost every class

Edit:

@ pic

OMG HT is glowing red, he must be a new weapon.

It could be a multi-part boss where you have to fight different parts.

If that thing is contained in one map, the sheer size of the map can probably dc quite a few people.

First off, you can't really know how powerful that thing is (if it's a monster at all) until we actually see it in action. You can't really base things off size. I'd rather take a slap from Zakum than a slap from Anego. And one more thing, if there's one thing APQ has shown me it is that stupid high level people are not in short supply. I hope they tend to AVOID this PQ, if it really is that complicated. I like the idea of having a high level, really difficult PQ. But remember, if it takes around an hour, then with only 19 channels it may be difficult to get in to =(

Different type of bosses. Dumb comparison really. HT is bigger than zak, and stronger. I think krexel is bigger than zak, and stronger. This thing is bigger than HT, and hopefully stronger.

He did say he wouldn't go easy. Frankly, after neo tokyo, they have a lot to work off of imo.
