I suppose we can expect a few April Fool's jokes down the line?

I could see an oldschool server bringing in a lot of money for them though, so it wouldn't be a bad idea.
How would it bring in money for them though? If it truly is old school then there would be no potential. they would probably be losing money from keeping up a server which is bringing in no profits.

And kinda related, but I find the idea of a "classic" server to be utterly ridiculous and I really don't see the point of it. Sure, nostalgia, but the game was a lot more archaic and boring back then. It won't bring back the experience of first playing the game just because the game goes back to its shitty roots.

Not that it means much but there's an inconsistency in the grey box for the subtitles.

"Updated: Dual Blade, Cannoneer Skills"'s box goes over the black border, while the other subtitles do not.

If you look closely the font design of the 'Rewind' server looks different compared to the others....

Looking to fund a nuclear program which nukes all trolls out of this world.

Or maybe is the Supreme Mode of Global Maple Story O_O!

And yeah... maybe the last part IS photoshopped... but the rest seems legit. Pretty legit.

If was present for more than 3 minutes it would've been permanently recorded by Notify.

Note the complete lack of URL in that screen shot so no one can show the real contents of what exists at the location this page claims to be at to prove it's a hoax.

I see no evidence to support this having truly happened.

Expert was above this post. I checked the basil post to see if there was a time in the OP post. Nothing was there. The lack of the address bar does make sense. I was also wondering, how does one take a SS that big?

Really wish the veteran surprise could be a real thing though, I would return to Maple if that were the case.

There's always some people who forget just how bad old maple was. If the game had stayed as it was, it would have shut down years ago.

Enlighten me, how does a much more grindy rpg, little to no endgame content, incredibly little choice in terms of playable character and far fewer things to sell to players bring in a lot of money?

Only the community was better imo...

a games community well-being is inversely proportional to the difficulty of the game.

I never said I cared for or would play it, I only said it could bring in some money and therefore wouldn't be a bad idea.

All we can do is sit and wait and hope Nexon doesn't do some more stupid things.

Oh MAN, what a letdown. Disregarding that "old maple" stuff, the idea of cross-world party quests and an archive library in the game is just too good.
p-pineappleing hoaxes. ;_;

I would have been super pissed if the "Old Maple Server" was actually a thing. Supreme would be a helluva lot better choice IMO.
