How bad was the original Tri?

Bow, Duals, Hunting Horn, and Gunlance were also completely missing from the game. The monster cast was considerably downsized in comparison to Freedom Unite, the previous game, as well. There was no G Rank, either.

Overall Tri is awful, and I barely played it because 2 of my favorite weapon types were removed in addition to the monster issues. Overall Tri was made simply to test the new engine I think, especially when they constantly bring back old monsters the more they go along, I completely disagree with the "They were getting rid of reskins/terrible monsters!" claim. At this point with Khezu and Gypceros returning in MH4, I just see no validity in that statement anymore, along with all the subspecies that have no real differences between their counterparts.

Since I usually go manmode when facing any kind of Brachydios with my friend, I decided to try and solo the G-Rank Brachy (the quest with one, not two).

...Fainted twice in about 15 minutes, decided to just let it go.

G-Rank is only available in Tanzia. Moga goes to High Rank 9*, and you must start over from 1* in Tanzia, however it's a lot quicker. Low Rank is 1-2* in Tanzia instead of 1-5*, and High Rank is 3-5*, and there's just certain set quests you must do to unlock the urgent and do it to continue.

Tanzia overall is built for multiplayer, though, so monsters will have more HP. Be aware of that just in case there's anything in particular you have trouble with.

Right now I need a Moonshard from Lucent Naruga, and 2 Palliums from Brachydios. I've done 15 Lucents and have 0, and probably 20 Brachys and also 0.

I feel bad for anyone who wants to make everything...stupid rare items.

Just started working on making Arzuros X. Hopefully this won't be too much of a pain, already got 2 of 3 Allbraces needed.

I only own MHFU but most of the content is in MH3.

Is there anything fun in G-Rank? I got sick and tired of hunting plesioth for my next upgrades for my Hammer and I so bad at lances -_-

Most of the content is not in MH3. MH3 has the least amount of content in any MH recent MH game.

MH3U is better off, but MHFU still has the most I believe.

What's different about it?

The only Arzuros quest in G Rank off the top of my head is a dual quest with one gigantic one and one tiny one. The gigantic one has excessively large hitboxes and hits like a truck. His HP pool is still laughably pathetic though.
