I know you're kidding but that's item ID, not skill ID.

There are definitely two sets of SE books, and both set work on all the SEs. There's also two sets of Illusion Step and AFA books.
Initially I was thinking this would mean they would have double the chance of recieving these books from Secret Mastery Books, but it turns out you have no chance of getting the extra sets. There's like, no reason to have extra books at all, except I guess, to compensate for the deletion of the skills the old books were attached too.

Thanks for the responses. Another question I have is whether mastery books turn into the skills with brand new IDs. Like, some skills keep their old skill ID, but just change in what they do. An example of this is a Bishop's Holy Shield becoming Advanced Bless. Different skill, same ID. So the Holy Shield book most likely becomes the Advanced Bless book.
My question is: what if the skill ID is deleted, and the new skill has its own ID? For instance, Bishops have Mana Reflection deleted, and they gain the new skill (and ID) for Arcane Aim, right? So in this case, would Mana Ref book still become Arcane Aim book? Confirmation from KMS players appreciated.

Juuust curious, but... Say I passed Taunt 30. If that skill gets to be removed, and changed for another... Do I have to pass that book again?

This is a question about mastery books. Obviously the skill points would be returned.

However, Advanced Bless shares the ID with the deleted skill Holy Shield. Any points invested in Holy Shield will transfer to Advanced Bless. If the two skills don't share an ID, the points will be redistributed into the SP pool. My confirmation? I had level 30 Brandish before Big Bang. It was level 30 Brave Slash after Big Bang. They shared the same ID. As for IDs not matching? Paladins lost all sword charges after Big Bang (the IDs are the mace charges). They were redistributed. I don't see any reason the rules would change now.

But is there an example of 4th job skills with IDs not matching? There is still a chance that a deleted ID's mastery book could get replaced by the new ID's mastery book in the inventory. It'd be nice if a KMS player could just answer this question and finalize it.
