Unable to locate installation path

I click gamelauncher and it says that

I have the same problem. I tried a few things like creating a new shortcut and opening it directly from the MS folder, but it still wouldn't work.

Everyone I've asked has the same problem. I guess we're being forced to log in through the site now.

Anyone found a solution?

I had this problem when I patched to BB. If you still haven't found an answer, try running as administer.

Go to your MS installation folder, right-click GameLauncher.exe, properties, compatability tab, check the run as administrator box. The same thing happened to me, too. The problem doesn't happen when it's run as administrator, so this way it will always run as admin.

Actually you shouldn't use that setting.

If you play the game on a limited user account or with User Access Control enabled then you probably need the administrator to assign the correct permissions to the whole C:\Nexon\MapleStory folder.

The best solution is just to disable UAC.
