Piece of Scroll

So. Cassandra's Daily boss quest seems to give these things out. I'm more than certain that the reward will be some sort of scroll, but I am more or less curious on when this was added to the data, as well as how many Pieces of Scrolls can stack. Thanks.

The item's description says to hold onto it until September 19th; Cassandra herself says that she gives the pieces out every day (if you do the boss quest) until September 29th.

I'm guessing either a quest activates after we get a certain number of scrolls, a quest activates after a certain day, or Cassandra gets a change in script (at a certain day) allowing us to give the pieces and choose the scroll we want (think of the Maple Administrator during the Anniversary event).

Anyway, I'm still curious on when this piece of scroll was added to the data, as well as the number that can be stacked; if stackable at all.

I don't seem to remember this event at all; anyway, I did some research and found something on MapleTip. You need 30 for the quest, apparently, and they stack up to 100 like you said. Thanks.

Hm. My mistake. Either Nexon accidently added the scroll to the quest, or they're recycling it for a different quest. Cool.

Unless the old piece of scroll was deleted, I find it unlikely that the two are identical. There are many identical items in the data that has different effects (there's like 13 weapons with the same look but with a different weapon ID if you look on BannedStory).

There is only one "Piece of Scroll" item in the data. It is only used in one quest. The expire date for that quest is in 2007. Given the description of the item, I'm going to call it "Translated but never used".
