^Maybe it's just because I've only played UU, but I'm seeing a lot of Pokemon I consider good listed here.
Xatu, Castform, Pachurichu, Slaking/koth, Flareon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Eevee, Rapidash, Absol, Tentacruel, Seviper, Cherrim, Venomoth, Beautifly, Sableye, Sharpedo, Ursaring, Nidoking, Blaziken, Clefable, Ampharos, Butterfree, Tropius, Ditto, Dunsparce, Charizard, Mightyena, Toxicroak, Zangoose, Quagsire, Spinda, Muk, Arbok, Ariados, Glaceon, Raikou, Entei, Farfetch'd, Cacturne, Skuntank, Magmortar, Luvdisc, Delibird, Kakuna, Arcanine, Haunter, Carnivine, Mawile, Torkoal, Feebas, Noctowl, Marowak, Kingler, Mantine, Hypno and Lanturn.
Bold are good Pokemon in normal play (yes, battling-wise). There's also some Pokemon listed that are useful in certain situations like Muk and Marowak, but overall I guess I'd agree that they do suck. Eevee, Haunter, Kakuna, and Feebas aren't even fully evolved.

I don't know why people forget Clefable, he is extremely underrated. He might seem like a weaker Chansey, but I feel that with Magic Guard and Encore, he operates much more effectively.

Ninetails
I like Arcanine and Ninetails in general. They can look badass, but they don't do too well in competetive.

I'm wondering why Lanturn is on the list too. Lanturn technically has '3' elements to pick from: STAB'd Water & Electric, then there's the option of Ice for Dragon/Flying (lolhiSalamence&Draggy) and Dragon/Ground (ohhiweakerversionofsalamenceAKAFlygon). With Volt-Absorb, it repels Electric attacks and restores HP, so you can cross that off as a weakness. Now he's weak to Ground-based attacks. Problem? Maybe. If you're a douche, just Magnet Rise with something else and Baton Pass. Then it only has to worry about Grass attacks for a couple turns.
Lanturn:
-Ice Beam (normal) / Blizzard (with constant Hail)
-Surf
-Thunderbolt (normal) / Thunder (with constant Rain)
-HP Grass / T-wave
If you have HP Grass, shove in a Life Orb. If not, use him primarily as a status-inflicter and switch back. Lanturns♥

Ursaring is actually pretty good too because you can use its Quick Feet ability in conjunction with a Toxic Orb and Facade to turn it into a sweeper.
We're also forgetting Linoone, a pokemon that can instantly become a sweeper after one Belly Drum, having access to Extremespeed, the fastest priority move in existance.

Most pokemon with Extremespeed already have high speed, and out priority everything. Linoone has 100 base speed.

You're forgetting the fact that all it really has going is it's good HP. It's other base stats are not great at all.

Espeon (if it hasn't been said yet).
It's inferior to Alakazam offensively, and inferior to Umbreon for support.
