I believe they have to enter the hacker's name individually. At least I remember so in an old NXJoe video. Now if they can just right click and ban, and using THAT method they only got 100, then it's not enough.

You also need to consider the afternoon and evening are times where most people are on, because morning = little hackers/script kiddies on due to school.

Even if they couldn't, they could just do save name, open up ban window, ctrl-v, press permanent ban, and okay. And the point is that they sounded surprised to find 100 hackers when in reality, any player could easily find 100 hackers in a few hours even by searching popular hacking mapswithout the VIP rocking that GMs can do.

Almost a whole week. Yes. Usually this crap is posted in the first 10 minutes.


Comparing leeching to hacking made me lol. They can't stop leechers, it's legit. If they stopped leechers, they would have to stop training parties, along with PQs.

Where do you think leechers get money from? 5mil/hr and up to leech is not gonna turn up on its own, esp with someone who doesn't train.


If they hack on account 1 and buy leech on account 2, who gets banned? Maybe the 1st account, but probably neither. And one of them is even considered "legit". Seems like a pretty good deal.

If someone buys mesos from 3rd party sites (rather than MTS), they're directly paying people to hack their server. Which is kinda counterproductive if you want to reduce the number of hackers.


On the other hand, Nexon makes money from this, cause the meso sellers all use double drop cards. So it's not really in their interest to ban these people. :x

I agree. Usually ppl that defends leech, leechs themselves. thats why they can't stand other ppl saying it's bad.

This lone reason is why most of us hate nexon.... they only seem to do what is in their best interest (nets them the most money) rather than what is best for the game/community

on a side note If you just sit in the fm (hopefully in invis mode) for a couple hrs banning all those meso selling site avertisers you'd have more than 100 (not in each server but total amonst the servers) and I feel you'd make a great deal more of an effect on the hackers if you could keep it up over time

Basically your saying everyone who leeches is a hacker, and has another hacker account supporting their leech money.
Leeching itself is legit, so that still wouldn't make them a hacker.

Your argument would be true in any other situation, not just leeching. But you still can't say leeching is not legit overall, just because some hack on other accounts.

I don't think leeching is Illegit overall, but I do think that Leeching is giving hackers and people who buy from meso sites too much of an unfair advantage. I don't think all leechers are hackers or glorified noobs, but the MS community as a whole would be better off without leeching for the reasons Stereo mentioned.

Amen to this. Though I would very much like to see a complete death to hacking, I will settle for them actually getting rid of d/c hacks.

I just want them to fix d/c hack also. It is hard for me to get a good spot.

Hackers WILL find ways to get into the system.
Why do you think they are called hackers.

Hacking is a lifestyle, even if it is just a game.

Getting rid of 100 Hackers in one morning is very good.
Probably just lvl1's trying to lvl up in maple island.
Sweeping through channels on every server will do NOTHING.
They have "Monster Counters(Counts Monsters on map),People Counters(Counts players even GM'S! Even when they are in Hide),Auto CC(Changes Channels When Anyone comes in the map)".

Those are the only hacks I will go into detail with hackers have to out think GMs to hack.
Their main perpose it like a private server to reach high lvls easily But doing it in the real server gives you more pride when u switch to a legit usually round 1xx.

Nexon is doing its best to control hackers. Patching them is a Nono to hackers, when its patched they figure out a way to keep hacking with it.

Next time dont go and make accusations.
