Dont you see those people in courts on the typewriters typing up the whole hearing? Yea it is a beneficial skill

Actually, I don't particularly pay attention to the sound of my typing. Writing, however, is satisfying. Graphite on paper. Mmm.

Typing at whatever speed I type at (I think someone did it years ago, but someone should post a typing speed test for us all to compare results) allows me to write papers at roughly 1000 words per hour. My last paper, I wrote 3400 words in 3.5 hours.

I don't know about everyone else, but whenever I see a cute chick dressed in those office suits, HNNNNNNNG. It's even better when they type really fast. I've met some girls like that over at college and what-not, it's a turn-on (for me anyways).
