Nexon and Email Changes
#1
My email accounts, and several maple accounts attached to them were compromised a few days ago, and I requested a email request change through them.

My question is how long does Nexon take to change the emails? Or is it a hopeless cause with them? I've been out of the loop for a while, so it came as a surprise to me that I was even able to submit a form to request one.

In my experience they want you to fax some stuff, and to be honest I've never seen or used a fax machine in my life.

How long do they usually take to get back to you though? At the moment I have to stay on my account otherwise if I log off, I won't be able to get back on until I either get my email account back (for the second time) or the email gets changed!

I've never used a fax machine in my life either.

In my case it took them 2 months to reply to my support ticket. They sent me an e-mail with a form to fax back along with photo ID.

I just got it yesterday and I haven't faxed it back yet, but the e-mail said that it will take 2 weeks after the form is faxed to complete the change.

Good Luck...

EDIT: By support ticket I meant that special web-form for e-mail change requests.

Thanks!.... A part of me just died inside. But this is Nexon after all. Why did I ever expect anything less....

Took me about 3 weeks a couple years ago to change mine. I also needed to fax in ID.

you can go to officeworks or post office and fax from there.

If you faxed it a couple of weeks. If I were you I'd deactivate your email, then deactivate your account. Delete both activations email with a screenshot of the email and he won't be able to compromise it.

Oh wow. Sorry to hear, Sharpy Sad

A few people I've spoken to about this said it took a few months for Nexon to reply and/or process it. But I remember someone on this forum saying it only took them 1-2 weeks? It's Nexon, most likely going to take some time.

Good luck.
