Thinking something is silly when you don't know how it works is silly.

Saying thinking something is silly is silly when they know nothing about it is silly when you don't try to adress their at least somewhat reasonable explanation for it.

Accuracy isn't a problem for any class so long as your level is above the monsters and your build is somewhat normal.

Even so, as I have heard you don't have a 100% hit rate even when you're at their level.

So...

Why improve the EXP curve when you're training on monsters more than 20 levels*(or however many) lower than you just to hit them? I really would hate to train another character to level 85 on retz.

Why improve the damage when they make a decent amount of your hits miss and do nothing? That hardly even buffs them at all.
Not to mention that they also buffed the monsters hp's, defense, ect. Making them take even longer to kill. This doesn't really change much, while these rebalances are cool, the nerfs that came a long with it really seem silly.

The skill updates are going well in my opinion so far, they will most likely make the game much more fun and enjoyable, and those are quite fine.

The monsters being stronger can make the game more challenging, that's fine as well.

The accuracy formula makes your hits randomly miss on chance, unless you pour stats into ungodly ammounts of accuracy, this isn't challenging or unique, it's just something to put a stone in the recent buffs we got.

So you no longer miss period? Even on monsters that aren't 20 levels lower than you?

I went from missing on DGP (level 108) to 98% hitting gigs (level 122).

Well that seems like a much more decent amount compared to the misses I've been seing them do in videos. I suppose that's liveable, now about the low levels...? Oh yeah and I'm also forgetting melee classes, how are their hits?

UltimaSteele Wrote:While I agree that there is no obligation by Nexon to perpetuate the superiority of the statless builds, I do think something needs to be done if a currently effective build becomes virtually unplayable.

LUKless mages apparently cannot hit hardly anything after the update. This is not something they can simply "get over," they require a complete AP reset so their character can become playable. They shouldn't have to spend a few hundred bucks just so they can hit something. Besides, what about the LUKless elemental wands that are in the game now, not to mention all of the maple weapons? Doesn't that encourage a statless build?

Conversely, by your reasoning, if Warriors are indeed a one stat class, why does Nexon encourage us to add points into DEX?

Regardless, I believe resets are necessary for both SP and AP, though whether you use them or not should be up to the player. I hope, especially for the mages sake, that Nexon takes this into consideration. Just my two cents~ Tongue1

They can get over it by adding points to LUK, or getting equipment that adds LUK. Nothing becomes unplayable under the new system.

And since when do Nexon's "recommendations" ever matter? Those are only to guide noobs who have never played the game before. The purpose of secondary stats in MS is to limit power by forcing some points to be moved to another stat. No Warrior equipment except two version-exclusive weapons require any dex at all to equip. All other classes require significant investment in a second (or even third) stat just to use their high level class-exclusive equips. Dex doesn't do anything for a Warrior except add accuracy, which is available from other sources, and a minor amount of damage. As a matter of fact, you could add luk for that accuracy if you wanted to. Dex is just more efficient.
