Hot Week Shop Character Slot Expansions

The Hot Week we are having, and the next one, give 10-Year Tokens, which can be used to buy things from the Artifact Keeper NPC in Event Hall.
One of these things is a character slot, for 20 Tokens.
The purchase limit is one per character.
Which means you can claim the Hot Week boxes on different characters, and get a character slot every other day.

There was discussion in the official forums about whether this is an exploit, and Artasi responded

This is not what we classify as an exploit, and the working of this shop, including the character slot coupons, is as intended.

I'm assuming that next patch will be the increase to character slots (since KMS got it with Mechanical Grave), so just in case, I'm going to buy 4 character slots on 4 characters to prepare for the patch.

Now that both EMS and MSEA players can maximize their character slots for free, I think GMS doesn't want to make this so "readily-available", and hence this event.
