The DSi, the new DS experience.

Edit: For $75, it might be more worth it just to buy a new DS off ebay alltogether. But maybe I'll do this when I have money.

I'm not trading in my DS Phat, I'm just getting a DSi to go along with it xP

And the Wii recently got an upgrade that allowed up to 32 GB SD cards, but I just wasn't thinking that the DSi would be able to use the same sized cards. I'll probably grab an 8 GB card for my DSi then. They're pretty cheap anyway xP

.3 megapixels? That's pathetic. My 4 year old cell phone has a better camera.

An extra $50 to disable GBA slot and have a camera is kind of a crappy deal. The DSi should just be gaming only.

So not wanting to set up a new thread about this...

If you have sav files on an sd card that you use with an R4 (yes i know piracy sucks, but i have most of the games anyway), could you hypothetically use that same SD card from the R4 and play games off of it on the DSi?

Just out of curiousity, since i', debating whether or not i want to upgrade my old DS (kinda like the internet browser too. Only thing that really intrigued me xD)

I have to say. Its worth the upgrade imo. The fact the firmware can be upgraded brings limitless possabilitys. Also, they "could" do video. all that would require is them swiching it from preformance mode to full power. (I read that the system is limited to same speed as DS. well alittle above that. And it can go higher by hackers but Nintendo has a option to change it.)

The camera is fun. *points to video*

MP3 player is great. and messing with the songs is entertaining. DSi ware more should be coming also.

They have added safeguards to prevent that, so at the moment: no.

Apparently my friend was selected to go get a free DSi for no particular reason. And I think the offer is legitimate.

At this point I'm suprised they didn't stick a phone in it. People but systems because of good games, not gimmics.

Besides, you need Wi-Fi to connect the DS to the internet anyway, which my laptop can already do. I don't see the point in getting this :U

So, how are we supposed to get our pogeymans from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald ?
