I can't say I've ever heard that term before (Google), I usually just say before or after taxes, lol. But yeah, it's probably before all the taxes and such.

I remember the last business I ran after everything was payed and the creditors
payed back they made like a penny per dollar or something profit, it was absurd sounding.

I imagine owning most of their own stuff makes it alot easier to cut operations costs.

pretty sure they're maintaining their own servers. The IP for the login server routes to their corporate HQ.

Might vary game by game, but maple is done on colocated servers with internap. Even their office email is in one of the PNAP centers on a different subnet.

Some MS's have customer hotlines apparently so I'm sure some CS's make some money
They have like 12 some divsions accross the globe so I'm sure they got one long hell of a payroll count
NX cards probably take a lot to ship and manufacture
They own a lot but most of their games were created by other compaines so their's probably some legal pay off there...
Then there's basic upkeep...

I wonder how much the "cooperate heads" profit... consifering all the factors
