it would be more cooler, if you could access these job if your said job of whatever class(example warriors-aran) could get it if your 200. but meh w/e.
thief class next i guess. maybe hes from another universe.

would be cool but that would be wasting money for nexon since designing a job for 500 people isnt far as proffitable as designing a job thats available to 10 million ppl

Do not want. :L

A whole beginner selection option thing dedicated to one single class is so pointless. Either lump it in with Adventurers or Heroes/Arans/whatever the group is called.

Yea it's getting silly having lots of options at start-up. It would be more logical to have em all start as beginners and in there give information on how you advance in the different branches. 5 separate heroes, adventurers and cygnus at character creation... New players gonna be lost that way.

I don't mind them having different starts and branches, makes the game more interesting for newbies IMO, but they can't have too many categories, really. Adventurers, KoC, and 'Heroes' (not sure what the category is) should be all there is. If they want to add any classes after that they should just stick to one of those three.

Yes and yeah, I guess.

The character selection should look like this in a few years:

Explorers / Cygnus Knights / Legends

Clicking on explorers = Maple Island
Clicking on CK = Ereve
Clicking on legends = another select screen with 5 more options: Aran, Evan, Ian, whatever the hell they come with.

Because following what the promo art shows [being that there were 5 people who stayed back to fight the black mage] means they will make 5 classes.

Or that the title says MapleStory's First Hero should suggest an idea of "there's more to come".

No, it means that it was Maplestorys original hero, as in the first one, as in it existed before adventurer jobs.Hurt

By that definition Aran should be the very first Hero even before his otherwise presumably contemporary company.
MapleStory's first Hero rises again != One of MapleStory's first Heroes rises again (by your definition)

Then there's this piece of text in the introduction
Nexon Wrote:During the age when the Black Mage ruled Maple World,
five heroes protected its citizens from his darkness.
and
Nexon Wrote:the last faithful believer of the prophecy—the revival of the heroes—her clan had received long ago
which include Aran, I'm assuming.

Of course there's no credibility in Nexon's words and everyone who buys it is a donkey with less than half a brain. I'm just positive there's more reasons to perceive things this way rather than otherwise.

In one of the quests you go back to the time of the battle against the black magician and your character becomes the Evan that is on the creation screen, like in Ellin PQ. It's like a flash back.

Evans are just the maplerized version of Eragon.
A random farmer guy that finds a dragon and trains alongside it.
There is a lot of nonsense things in Evan. Before hatching the dragon, you are just a normal farmer. After hatching it, you're the same farmer. But with the ability to use Wands and other magician equips.
Also, you're completely useless, the dragon does absolutely everything.
You're not part of the legend. You just have the ability to control the dragon gained from the Past.
Evans got a house, a family, and a brother. Which doesn't happens to anything in Maple.
Evan became an awesome job with those skill changes. But the storyline for it is the most poor, cliche and ripped off storyline ever released to MS.
