Evan is not one of the Five Heroes !?

Evan is a Dragon Master, as the name says, Evan will be dealing with Dragons. A Dragon will attack for him, Evan will ride on Dragons (mounts).
Evan is not part of the five heroes, it is a completely different class.

Aran starts as a Legend, but Evan starts as a Master Beginner.

Evan, the character itself will not be attacking. Instead, your Dragon will attack.
Evan’s Dragon have its own equipment.

I think that's pretty heavy speculation and could only be truly determined through an official Nexon announcement.

Just because the kid isn't ancient (the dragon is!) doesn't mean he can't be one of the five heroes.

This whole thing is very confusing. The character selection screen is now Adventurer, Cygnus, Aran, and Evan. They're not grouped together.

And his info seems a bit off. It said that he dreamt of finding an egg, but from what I saw, he dreamt of the completely grown Mir. Plus, we don't even know whether the baby dragon's actually mir or a reincarnation of it.

They'll group them together once they realize that there's too many option on the character selection screen. If they group Aran and Evan together now it won't help promotion needs, will it?

He looks old and worn, not beaten up. Same look to the Aran Memory maps, so I'm interested in where they go from there.

That image also reminds me of the Cygnus Dragon creature thing. Wonder if there's any connections, or if I'm just drawing something out of nothing.

They'll probably group the Aran and Evan classes together under something like "Legendary" class subsection once they release a 3rd class, and just keep the 4th slot for the new type of character as more come out, grouping the older ones under the 'legendary' category.

Grouping legendary classes wouldn't work because the way you make legendaries is completely different.

Scales have the edges chipped off, but otherwise look unharmed. No Scratches or gouges. Sure he's had his battles, but non recent.

Grouping legendary classes wouldn't work because the way you make legendaries is completely different.

I see them grouping them all together so that when you select their group, it takes you to yet another section where you select exactly which hero you want to choose.

...Or at least, that's the most logical thing that I see them doing. For all we know, they might keep them all seperate.

At the very least i see them making the race select screen cooler, but that's what i was thinking too.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what's going to end up happening.

Just because Evan doesn't start out as a legend doesn't mean the class isn't suppose to be a representation of one of the 5 heroes. His dragon his old, and I assume he had some kind of role in the battle against the Black Mage. It'd be strange for a farm boy to start out as a legend. They can't simply reuse the "frozen in ice" gimmick for every one of the heroes. I think it works our rather nicely that they give each of the heroes their own way of coming back into the Maple world. Perhaps the next class will turn about from some clan that's kept the teachings of the original hero and passed them down generations, until the true successor is found.

Or, it could be as everyone says, and Nexon simply won't introduce the other heroes at all. Whatever floats their boat.
