Before you warn me, read this completely.

WARNING, YOU CAN VIEW A RICKROLLED VIDEO IN THE LINK BELOW.

After reading that, if you clicked this video featuring Rick Astley with a title implying that you got RICKROLLED...

Would it really be a rickroll? You were expecting that particular video instead of another, so it didn't get you offguard... Therefore, the rickroll wouldn't have achieved his goal, therefore making it loose the rank of "prank".

that youtube video is um.... a rickroll doesn't matter if it caught u offguard or not, u go there, u get rickrolled.

No, it's not a rickroll. Because to do a proper rickroll, you must have false or misleading information to make someone want to click on the link. Even a lack of information (such as posting a video link to a fad video in a random topic) could be ruled as a rickroll.

However, if you say, "If you want to see Rick Astley's video, click here", that's not a rickroll at all.

I believe the original was duckroll?

So really anything that isn't what you expected is a ____roll, depending on what it is/what you want to call it.
