It isn't until you get your endgame equips that you notice the difference.
(And if I remember correctly, you can get attack pots from various places. If the sprite is an active skill, the pot easily overrides this.)

The people who have the extra 12 attack can easily have scroll almost the same level of equipment than the 12 attack-less person (gotta have a little meso loss from the time it takes to level the Cygnus character).

And think if you had those better equips plus that extra 12 attack. Hurrr
An extra 12 attack is definitely something I am looking forward to. That's a HUGE boost for me. Saying it's not much to be missing out on is just stupid.

The skill is passive too, anyways, so potions stack on it.

Oh well. It doesn't matter. The 12atk still doesn't seem like much, especially when it comes every 10 levels. Also, the 30 matk doesn't seem much at all, and if you're going to make a chara to guard your map, you might as well make the mage right?
I think 12 attack only makes a significant change in the Nightwalker because claws don't come with much attack.

That skill is extremely useful for EVERY Cygnus class, and regular class, except Magician classes, I mean, it's not useless for them, but it's just not extremely useful. Especially for those lucky enough to have a level 200 by the time they come out. 12 watt is not to be yawned it. Think about it, you say you can just use a pot, or equips to make that up, well... fine, do that, then add the att from that skill... even better.
I still wouldn't just let go of getting that 30 matt. I myself intend to have a lvl 200 bish, and lvl 200 F/P by their release, possibly a 200 I/L, forget the other classes, I'll do what I can there. I intend to make one of each Cygnus, just as I've made one of each of the regular classes, minus the warriors lol.
They won't bring anymore ksing than we have now. People KS no matter what level they are all the time. I also notice people talking about stuff they don't fully understand. With the Flame Wizard, unless something has changed, you don't just have to ks with fire, you can ks with neutral as well. Which leaves things much more open. Though I'd rather think of that in terms of training, rather than ksing.
They will change a lot in the game, no doubt, but the game can't stay the same forever, that's why it gets boring. I think this class will bring more good than bad.
The only thing I really find broken, but I still love it, is the fire based dot cloud the Flame Wizard gets, especially if it can become, and stay neutral while it's out. You know I'm making that, I love the F/P class, I just wish they didn't just do one Cygnus version of each class, I know it'd be a lot, but I'd love to see what they would have done with a Cygnus I/L or Cygnus Bandit, even though I hate the bandit class.
As far as inflation, well, it'll only last for a short while, I'm sure.
I mean, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, of course, I just don't seem them doing much arm.

My main complaint for the "mist" skill is that it HORRIBLY obscures vision. This can make hell for ranged/highly mobile classes in a KS situation, and can cause people to lose good drops when they don't see them and the ks'rs pet loots it...

Maples, there's only one thing I am amazed about at your post.
You intend to have two level 200s?
I hope you know how hard it is to have one levels 200, let alone two because that just blows my mind. Cygnus will probably come in GMS in a year and a half (judging how fast KMST content comes to us).

It's not hard, with the 2x exp cards. You level 2 times faster, therefore, raising 2 level 200s in the same amount of time a person without 2x would raise 1.
And, before 2x exp even came out, people already reached their late 15xs. :f6:
Unfortunately, that being said, people who refuse to use 2x (such as myself) are slow compared to everyone easing their path to maximum level.

Unless something changed since this class was first introduced, you need to have an empty space for your cygnus character to be created. I personally think that was why the extra character slot item was first created but I'm probably wrong about that.

Fiel said that there was a special "Cygnus slot" and that you're only allowed one cygnus per server, period.

Doesn't look passive to me. :f6: This is why you don't go to basil for trust worthy information. That's not even close to looking like Blessing of the sprite... That's cassandra's event buff. >_>

THAT is the Bless of the Sprite skill. Woops. >_>
By the way, what does the Cassandra Event buff do? (I can't read the Korean text)
Says something about a 10, a 10, and an 80...

10 ATT, 80 weapon defense, 10 Magic. There are several different kinds of cassandra buffs of varying durations and increases, they're awarded pretty much at random, though different events don't always give the same ones.

Well with Fiel's new extraction they all got nerfed in areas and changed a little. We need to see some new videos of them in action.
