Out of curiosity, how much money do you guys make on a weekly basis?

I just got laid off from my weekend job cause my business is closing down its store. But other than that I earned 75 a week before taxes.

I make $11/hr doing sign spinning. 5 hour shifts, Saturdays and Sundays. ...One and a half hour breaks. Soooo, around $100 a week after tax. I'd probably be making more if I actually audited but I haven't, so.. my boss doesn't know how talented I am and can't give me a raise for it.

The money is nice since I'm only a kid and don't really have anything to spend it on. Plus, cars full of hot girls screaming at you while you're performing is pretty nice Tongue

I work in DC though.
And I'm 15 btw.

wow that's a pretty cool job, just a question what's the point of spinning signs on the street, like how does that benefit your boss?

and how do you manage to do that for 5 hour straight (i'll probably get tired in like 30 minutes)

It's advertising. A company (say a condo or a restaurant) hires you and you advertise them. You get paid, they get more customers.

Uh, iPod + Monster Energy Drink is what I do. Right now, the weather's decent. In the summer, when I was working, I'd have to pack 8 bottles of water. The last 40 minutes of the shift are really hard though.

I think it's funny that the sign in the video looks like it's supposed to point passersby in a direction but is never held long enough in one particular direction for anyone to know where to go. Still, it's great advertising, hard to not see them at it. Pretty cool job, too.

I haven't had a job since I started college, so all I make get each week is a big goose egg.
