Pie vs. Cake area takeovers

This. Last year was so much better IMO, even with the town lag.

This year's CvP can't even compete with last year's CvP. It was so much superior compared to this year's, plus this year has so many bugs / glitches in it that it's far too frustrating to even do. So much for going for the chair.
At least the artifact hunt is next week. Can't wait for that to start back up.

So far I've been in one PQ, and that was for defense. If I was an attacker, well, bye bye barricade.

A bit of a warning for you guys: The Pie VS Cake takeover battle invitation does not appear to carry over to other channels like the Ani invitation does. That means CCing right as you accept the invitation will cause you to lose the quest bubble, meaning that you cannot participate in the battle. I just lost 10 insignia because of this. -_-

I don't even get the invitations anymore, I got them yesterday, anywhere and everywhere, but today, neither of the invitations (town battle or :15/:45 battle) appear over my head. Based on victories, I missed 20ish insignias. Help?

Did you reobtain the cake/pie medal and the board? Everyday it restarts so you have to go talk to Cake Boss Daniel or Pie Lord Tiara to randomly receive your medal for that day.

Yes, I D/Ced sometime yesterday and upon relogging my Pie Medal had expired so I got a new one, I thought that would have reset it, no?

Did you equip your medal? Or have you been in the fm, mts, cs, or minidungeon? If you aren't receiving the green envelope at the 15min or 45min mark, then you are at a place where you cannot receive the cake vs pie envelopes like the minidungeon.

I didn't have the chance to return to the bakery bosses because I was in a decent LHC party, but now that I have, I now have both Pie and Cake medals. I wonder how victories will now be counted, if anything, I'm on the Cake side since I got that last. 5+ insignias all the time pl0x! On a serious note, I think that the Maple clock and me not being in the Pacific timezone has something to do with this turn of events, more info after a town battle. Thanks for all your help.

I tested out tespia...the most recent one you got is the one you have to wear. So i assume the Cake medal. Tespia had a glitch where you could change sides just by changing channels. Sadly they fixed it. But I was testing out the glitch so I found out whichever was the recent side the Daniel or Tiara says you are on, is the side you are on. So just toss out the pie medal unless you wanna confuse your enemies. XD
