Fate

hmmm.. not exactly...
i believe there are multiple fates.
like, you just travel some path and then the road splits into 2 ways and you need to choose - that's where fate takes a break and you need to make a decision.
so fate exists but we're the ones directing it.

i also believe in fate when it comes to things that happen in nature and in the universe.

I think you might be confusing fate with cause and effect. Fate is, by definition, an event that was inevitable or destined to happen. You can't choose different ones because there is only one. All you really said was that things happen because we make choices. That's exactly what cause and effect is.

What, exactly, do you mean by that second paragraph? Just because something is beyond your or my (or humans) control that doesn't mean it was fated to happen.

no, that's not what i meant.
i see fate as a mix of both destiny and cause&effect.

i also think that some things are too coincidetial, and that's why i believe in fate in general.
